Brian Glass took this stunning photograph; wow, abstract composition with beautiful light effect. The polythene against the sky is superb; it has a certain similarity to David Hockney’s ‘Splash’ painting. The ripples and waves in the polythene make visible the gentle wind that moves it. The shadow on the ground of the central poly strip creates an interesting wave like effect. Single point perspective running into the distance produces an airy sense of space and carries the viewer to the horizon.
